Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how famosMedia Technologies Ltd. (“Cartright”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data in connection with the Cartright website (cartright.co) and the Cartright WordPress plugin. We are the data controller for the processing described here: famosMedia Technologies Ltd., Pentadaktylou 45, 7737 Larnaca, Cyprus. Contact: [email protected].

1. This website

This website is a static marketing site. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not run third-party tracking or profiling. When you visit, our server automatically records standard technical log data (IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, and browser/user-agent). This is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating and securing the site, and log data is retained only for a short period before deletion.

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, message content) solely to respond to your request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR).

2. Purchases & licensing (Paddle)

Purchases of Cartright Pro are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd., which acts as the seller for the transaction and handles checkout, billing, payment data, invoicing and license-key delivery. When you buy, Paddle processes the personal and payment data you provide under its own privacy policy. We receive limited order information (such as your name, email and order/licence status) to deliver your licence key and provide support. See the Paddle Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your full card details.

3. The Cartright plugin (runs on your server)

The plugin runs entirely on your WordPress/WooCommerce server. To recover abandoned carts it records shopper session and cart data — including the email address a shopper enters at checkout, cart contents and a recovery token — in your own WordPress database. As the store operator, you are the data controller for that shopper data; we do not receive, store or have access to it. Recovery emails are sent from your own server through the mailer you configure (your SMTP/SES). We operate no sending service and never see your customers’ personal data.

4. Software licensing (offline, no phone-home)

Cartright Pro is unlocked with a cryptographically signed licence key (Ed25519) that is validated offline on your server. The plugin does not call our servers to check your licence, and transmits no site or usage data to us for licensing. Your licence key is delivered by email at the time of purchase via the licensing service.

5. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. For payment data held by Paddle as Merchant of Record, please also contact Paddle directly.

6. International transfers

Some of our processors (e.g. Paddle) may process data outside the EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

7. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
